Having your family photographed is an investment. Most of us realize that. What we do not realize is that to truly create fine artwork there is a significant investment of time and energy both on the part of the photographer and the subject.

What to Expect at Jlmpress

SpecialtyJlmpress specializes in maternity, baby and family photograph. But rest assured we can capture children of all ages. All our sessions are by appointment only and we book at least two weeks out. No two families are the same so we customize each session to fit the needs of our families.

Design Consultation

Before your session we schedule a design consultation, so that we can understand the needs and desires of your family. This helps us to get a better understanding so that we can offer you art that you will appreciate and will complement and suite your home. At this consultation we will discuss product and pricing so that there are no surprises when it comes time to place your order. You will be able to browse some product samples, so that you can get a better feel for the art you would like to display in your home.

The Session

The session is where the fun begins. We make every effort to make this experience enjoyable. We don't only want to capture your portrait, but we want to make sure that those portraits remind you of a happy moment in your life. We schedule 2 - 3 hours for every session to makes sure that you and your family feel relaxed and at your best. You can be certain that we are giving you our full attention, so that we can create one of a kind Art for you to enjoy.

Proofing

One to two weeks after your session we will hold a proofing appointment at our studio.. You will watch a slide show of your images followed by the photographers recommendations. This is when you will place your order so be sure to bring everyone who is needed to complete your order.

Your order will be ready in 4 to 6 weeks after you finalize your order. As soon as your artwork has arrived we will notify you by phone and e-mail.
